3kw Wind Turbine - 48V

   We have designed this USA 3kw Wind Turbine with the American rural home owner in mind, our 3kw Grid Tie Wind Turbine can be directly connected to your controller and battery bank and when the wind blows our 3kw wind turbine will drive your electricity bills downwards so you can if you wish export electricity to the Grid. You will need a smart import - export meter for this to work.

With the 48v version you will need a battery bank ( 48v ) and a power inverter to give you 120v AC. So this option is a perfect upgrade from either a 1kw or 2kw battery charging wind turbine from Southwest Windpower or even that chap in Texas who sells ugly looking wind turbines.

If you choose mains voltage then we recommend a 3kw Charge Controller wired to a battery bank and a Power inverter for Off Grid use.
